Wum main market Traders Union Secures Win for Market Stall Owners

Wum main market Traders Union Secures Win for Market Stall Owners.
Led by its President Tambi Patrick (aka Paddy Brown), the Exco of the trader’s union successfully met with the Mayor of the Wum Council to discuss pressing concerns affecting market stall owners.
The union sought to address two major issues:
-Reducing Stall Rents: The Mayor agreed to reduce stall rents to 4,000 (upstairs) and 6,000 (downstairs).
-Insecurity and Unethical Behavior: The union expressed concerns about insecurity in the market and the unethical behavior of some night watchmen. These issues will be closely monitored and addressed.
The Traders Union left the meeting contented and satisfied with the outcomes. As a bonus, the Mayor agreed to revisit the rent prices when the Wum Bamenda roads are improved.
Let’s continue to work together to create a thriving market environment for all.
